Nice! I think a pair of Wigmore boots will a reality for me soon...
What do you mean buy this? Wanna do the same.
doooo eeeeeeet EMAIL NICK @ BESPOKE NOAW!!
it is a metal toe tap that lies flat with the leather sole, not placed on top of it. looks nicer, and is more comfortable to walk on.
Then it's like mine, I thought he meant he cleaned them up in a special way
oh, oops, lol. i guess each maker uses a different style tap, so they look different than yours.
Do all G&G shoes have diffrent metal toe tap on each model? Because his toe tap look extacly like mine?
i think they use the same style, but i guess its slightly different depending on the toe shape/size.
Yeah you are right. Didn't think of that.
Looks awesome, the St. James is one of my favorite models.
Anyone can actually do those, it's a MTO option (and a surcharge of course).
I got flush taps on my MTO.
+1. im dying for a pair in polo suede. mmmmmmmmmm
not terribly expensive, especially when paying for MTO already. TOTALLY worth it.
Contacted Nick to start the process of getting my Wigmore boots. Not a bad first shoe from G&G! Sadly it will take about 3 months to make. This fall will be spectacular: G&G Wigmore (hopefully), AS whiskey shell Ramsey, AS cognac shell Miller, Alden whiskey shell LWB, Alden whiskey shell wing tip boot, and Alden ravello shell Day Tripper.
Yeah, I think I should be good for the next decade...
I'm not the biggest fan of boots, but the wigmore are absolutely fantastic. Great choice!
That's a shoe orgy there.
I luvz my Alden whiskey LWB.
Kinda heavy on the light colors? No?
Not that I don't really like light colored shell.
Do you already have the AS shell shoes in hand or are they on order? I am very impressed with the one pair of AS Exclusives that I own - would be very interested in seeing how well they work in shell.
And lastly - you indeed will not NEED any more shell shoes for more than a decade. But in my experience need has little to do with it.
