    The Hayes have the standard "ram" medallion. The Grant has the extended one. I got the Grant mediallion on my MTO Hayes.

    Somehow G&G manages to find the most exquisite alligator hides. Quality is one thing, but they also have consistency in all 'gator pairs I've seen.

    I don't have the balls to try that. However, I am not surprised that it was difficult. For what its worth, it is more difficult to put it in than take it out.
