Always used Pantharellas myself, until I discovered Falke about 3 years ago. Never looked back since.

Especially these silks:-

and cashmere:-

incredible stuff.

Falke do have great socks I used Falke for 2 years but then I went over to Pantherella. I think Pantherella for me are much more comfortable and have more to choose of.

Yes, choice is a problem with Falke. German you see?

All practicality and technology, just no flair.

Strange that you moved from falke to Panthas, I went the other way.

I developed an allergy to nylons and synthetics, you would not believe how many top clothing brands I had to give up.

You would also not believe how many low end cheap brands became viable options, it was one heck of an excercise.

Anyway, Pantharellas had to go because it became difficult to determine exactly which styles did or did not contain synthetics.

"All practicality and technology, just no flair." Hey, you just described 93,7% of the Swedish population! :stirpot: Just kidding, we're all about flash and flair. :)

I moved away from Bresciani and Pantha because I like the durability of Falke better. I especially like their heavy wool socks. Have not found a more durable wool sock than Falke. But I agree they do lack a bit of sex appeal. But I would prefer navy langweilig Deutsch Socken before polka dotted cherry/violet striped see through socks any day of the week. Call me Swedish.

I need to tell everyone something which will probably bore everyone, but hey, it excites the crap out of me.

I have always been forced to buy G&G which are either too narrow or too long because nobody ever stocks shoes in a wide fitting these days.

Anyway, Nik came to my rescue and he might have a pair or two of exactly the G&G shoes I have been looking for from places like Leffot et al IN MY BIG FOOT SIZE!!

Now, if somebody could please describe to me how exciting that really is because I cannot find the words.
