Im just excited as I have a Barneys gift card, and will furiously search discount codes.
You will be the first person on Earth to get a new pair of G&Gs at a discount!
Wrong, the were discounted on ebay!
you missed the guy that found a pair at a thrift store, right? true story.
Still no MTO and they aren't the best of styles I have ever seen. Loving the John Lobb Chapel on there website.
thats no good. higher prduction isnt usually a good thing for quality control or wait times.
I still think it makes more sense to buy from Nik at Bespoke.
Walkton @ Bespoke England = GBP 585 = circa $ 900.00
Walkton @ Barney's = $1125 <-- at this price they better include shoe trees and shipping
At this price point, you shouldn't be splitting hairs over price. Sometimes people want to buy local, the extra money is worth it to them.
Yeah, buy local. Support you local retailers! A tiny brand like G&G would never have succeeded if it were not for these guys...
Damn since Barney's is carrying G&G, does that mean we will have even longer wait times?
If someone want to buy those G&G shoes from Barneys, do the customer need to wait 3 months? Or do they have a big stock with all sizes?
who can hook up an employee discount from barneys
meh, only 12 pairs. 2 of which are the arran boot, and 2 that are the westbury. so really 10 choices. in predetermined colors, materials and lasts. sizes 9.5-11 US, and a few 8.5s. all only available for pre-order. with expected delivery in july. underwhelming. this actually makes me happy.
presumably they picked models that they determined would sell on visual appeal even to someone not familiar with the brand. and based on the initial offerings success they will likely determine weather or not to expand the line.
someone who works there?
I know who can we woo there to get us a discount
