for me, i dont think i would go bespoke unless i knew exactly what i wanted. for that much coin i think one should have thought through exactly what THEY want, and then go from there with the guidance of the shoe maker. for example, i want something with a special elongated medallion, and maybe a different toe box than what they have. maybe a unique brownish hue... but that may be just me, think what you like, dont build a bespoke shoe with specs of what others want. just my 2 cents, good luck.

Depends what you want and what you need them for. I have a thing for burnished tan/oragney colour at the moment. Preferably chiseled toes with Derby style laces, sewn-in vamp tapering to the toes with a T-shape toe cap

what's that?

edit: already posted, thanks

Hi all.. I'm new here and I am a G&G addict. Meeting up with Dean Girling in London mid May and I'm going bespoke. I haven't decided what to go for yet and would really appreciate your input. Currently I own:
  • St James II, Vintage Cherry
  • Sinatra, Black Calf
  • Oxford, Black Calf
  • Hove, Vintage Chestnut
  • Gable, Vintage Oak
I'm thinking something Grant'ish..
Any thoughts? /Elfsberg
enjoy the experience.

Is it weird that I pictured you in my head almost exactly how you look in real life? You kinda let me down by not having a moustache/beard, though.

Ditto.

Fritzl, are you going to create a polo shirt Appreciation thread?
