1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Ye,

I personally find they all fit very much the same right up to the widest part of the foot, and then from there it is only the shape of each style which is different going into the toe box.

Creasing is not such an issue on any of the lasts I guess.

Many thanks, assume width is the same.

May I ask you, how are you able to order shell, I can't find this option on the bespoke-england site!

yes same width, 337 is a hair wider. G&G are much tighter at first but after an hour of wear they fit similarly.

for shell, contact Nick. Youll have to go MTO route

Hm, in this case I think I need to choose wide fit, not normal.

Yeah, I know about MTO, I went through and there was no such option as cordovan, only calf, grain, pigskin, and some exotics.
Who is Nick by the way? Sorry, I'm new here, don't know people...

i dont have any "wide" shoes so both lasts fit fell (DG70 slightly narrower). if you take wide fitting shoes, then perhaps a wide fit would be best for DG70. In either case, contact Nick and he'll help you out. its always a pleasure, just too expensive. :tounge:

NAMOR, Nick's customer service is impeccable. So few retailer's treat their customers with a complimentary car these days.

+1 for Nick being great. Honestly, a significant part of my having four G&G MTO's in the works is that bespoke-england seems to be the only high-quality shoe retailer to really be embracing the internet. Why are all the other makers/retailers such luddites? Just because one eschews new technology in the making of shoes doesn't mean one must eschew new technology in the selling of shoes. And yet, Nick seems to be the only one who gets this.

Also, just order a pair of Wigmores in Whiskey Shell with a Hatch Grain shaft. Cannot wait for fall.

My first dealings with Nick came a few years back when he was my go to guy for discounted Lobbs.

I think he still has access to quality Lobb subs. I keep meaning to drop him a note to ask.
