1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

John Lobb Paris is pretty fashion forward, IMO. Not as forward as the other French guys but its still more modern than EG and C&J

Hope it does not mean any operational change to their bespoke side of business...

Don't worry Spoo, it seems the question was rhetorical anyway.

Is that the vintage pine or the vintage cedar? Looks suspiciously like the vintage cedar, although the camera lights it up enough to appear like the pine.

It must be really frustrating for folks who don't already own their first pair of G&G - aaaargh the frustration!!!

but once you've owned a few pairs, you settle down and don't mind the wait.

I am more looking forward to checking out whether I should buy a pair of Carmina, my curiosity over this unknown brand is starting to burn.

I can't imagine they are as great as G&G, but I do like the look of some of the models I have seen.

I find I can order a G&G and even forget what I ordered weeks down the line. Makes receiving the order a great pleasant surprise!!

No need to count the "sleeps".
