All things being equal, my preference would be to support the site that supports the forum. Just had to ask about the trees. I got my first pair last week via the B/S and now I've fallen for the brand. Can't find a local dealer where I live and G&G on the B/S is not very common.

I´ve been thinking of buying the St James II for quite some time but i need some fit advice. I´m going to order them from Bespoke England and right now they have 7.5E and 7F... i have a couple of CJ, most of them in 7.5E that fit nice but not snug. Before christmas i bought a Clifford (last337) in 7E that was very snug at first but after some wears it fit snug, which i like. The perfect fit would probably be 7.25E

I´m a couple of days away of knowing if i get a new job or not. If i get it i will pull the trigger right away

Anyone own a pair in VC and can post a pic or two?

C&J 7.5E is about the same as G&G 8E. And if you do have a wider foot, 8F.

Could always contact G&G themselves.

As a woman who wouldn't dream of leaving the house without matching/coordinated bag, belt, shoes, etc. etc. my mother thanks you for offering up such a swell possibility.

May I ask if G&G made the briefcase as well? Or were the shoes comissioned to match?

They are stellar shoes - the arrangement of the hides is particularly effective - as is the finishing.

Yes G&G's Alligator matching is perfect. The case is a vintage one from an antique fair here in England. It has been professionally renovated and is now in perfect order with new lining and padding inside.

Difficult to capture the colour with an indoor picture but here is my oldest pair of GGs, now one year old and well worn.
