They are for me. 1/2 size down from US size. Maybe you can buy a RTW pair to try. They're returnable.

I'm usually a perfect 7UK (8us) but in G&G I take a 7.5, which they still mark as an 8US. So you want to go half a size up from your normal Uk size in G&G

    Thanks my friend!

For the sizing conversation, I'm a hair shy of US 7 and can wear G&G 6.5E or 6F. Honestly not too much of a noticeable difference either with loook or feel.

For reference, the Tavistocks I posted are 6.5E while Thorpes are 6F.

Very nice. What color Saphir cream polish would you recommend for the majority of the upper (not the toe or heal counter)?

Yes, G&G run true to size. I wear an 11.5 B in Alden. I have a pair of St. James II in Vintage Cherry TG73 MTO in 11C. The fit is spot on.

Personally I'm a big fan of neutral - I went through a phase of mixing and matching coloured creams / waxes, but I'm over that now. Saphir or Collonil 1909 neutral is where it's at for me.

When Tony offered these to me...I just couldn’t resist. They’re perfect.
