There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Do you mean wholecut or seamless wholecut? Either way, it would be a good question for the Leather Quality and Properties thread.

Wholecut as in one piece of leather with a seam at the end.

It's not easy to do with regular calf I can't imagine how hard it is with something with scales1

There is a difference between a wholecut (one piece of leather with a seam) and seamless wholecut (one piece of leather with no seam). I know St. Crispin does a seamless wholecut, it is one of the most expensive models they manufacture. I held one in my hand a few weeks ago, and can confirm there is no seam.

Neophyte question alert: How might I check out this MTO? Is it just through the MTO page on the G&G website or is there another place only accessible with a palmed benji and secret handshakes?

Not sure what you mean by "check out"? If you mean place an order for it, then the URL will work fine - order the model in your size and last, then put in the comments what you want. Looks like JS went with a vintage rioja calf/vintage rioja hatchgrain combo for the Walktons, and black pingrain on a Carnegie with captoe detail?

If you mean "check out" as in seeing additional pics from other angles, then it's all about asking @JubeiSpiegel nicely to provide a much-needed pubic service in posting MOAR PICS! I would most definitely support you in that most noble and selfless endeavour..

    Yes I know the difference.

Just wondering what the process is with these exotic skins which tend to e quite fragile around the scales.

Go to the G&G MTO Blog and browse.
    http://gaziano-girling.tumblr.com/

For help in ordering you can call or write the Savile Row store or email Nick or Dean and they'll be happy to steer you in as many directions as you care to go.
    Lot of help here, too.
