I am turning 30 next month & I had too much schooling and it's never ending & I had no life for past 10 + years. If it's your passion & you are young go for it but one thing I will tell you is make sure you enjoy it. It's not for every one.
completely agree! It is a ton of school and i didn't have a life either for that time, and still a bit longer with a surgical subspecialty. haha.
you need a passion and should start young, because if it isn't for you, you can still try to get somewhere else when you get out of it. I know many who dropped out during the course of med school.
Hey so did you go straight to med school after college and then do a standard 3 year IM residency and then right to the PM fellowship? That is quite young to be finished and it is nice to see others who get through it right away like me.
