I am turning 30 next month & I had too much schooling and it's never ending & I had no life for past 10 + years. If it's your passion & you are young go for it but one thing I will tell you is make sure you enjoy it. It's not for every one.

you need a passion and should start young, because if it isn't for you, you can still try to get somewhere else when you get out of it. I know many who dropped out during the course of med school.



Hey so did you go straight to med school after college and then do a standard 3 year IM residency and then right to the PM fellowship? That is quite young to be finished and it is nice to see others who get through it right away like me.

it's a long haul and as you may know, not all specialties make great money for all of the expenses for school and time invested. Thank God i didn't go into family or internal medicine. haha

Nice that your program did anesthesiology with the PM fellow combined. I've never heard of both combined and only as finishing the residency and separately applying for the PM fellow.

Haha. What it is is that we make time when we can and go in spurts in here. Or at least I do because I can then have time when I'm just in the OR for long days of surgery and alternate with some days of just office hours that are much more reasonable.

I am not IM doc I did anesthiology & then did FS in PM they do have it combine or not combine depending upon school some do and lot don't. Just like a quest program few school have them not all. What school did you go to?

All this MD talk So why aren't there many psychiatrists now? Is it not a glamorous area of medicine anymore?

I always thought it was a good specialty especially if you like to dress well as you don't have to get too "hands on" with patients.

It is very nice field I am not going to lie the person I am currently dating specializes in early child & adult psy

I have one that I see once a month. I'm sure he's scored multiple GG MTOs worth on my visits alone, based on my insurance statements!

Shoes are great, but let's have some career counseling. What does one sell to make $0.5M/yr? I always knew I was in the wrong line of work as a physicist, but now I am wondering just how wrong.

Someone asked me this question and I want to be sure about the answer before offering it.

Do Gaziano & Girling shoes require the use of their lasted shoe trees or can a standard shoe tree be used?

I am assuming a standard shoe tree will work fine, but want to be sure.
