If its narrower than the MH71 then I will take a wider width on it.

maybe I should have emphasized the difference is minimal.
you and I wear the same size unless you pushing the boundary of E width, going wider is not a good idea

probly a good idea Justin. I think you'll be fine. I wish I could get into the Antibes makeup but it won't work for me.

Anyone game for a GMTO for gable in deco last in racing green or navy ? I am not fussed about pattern - would also be open to Hanly, Warwick or Connaught. This modified gable below would be sweet.
I love that design - was really pleased how it turned out when I commissioned it. I'm always up for a GMTO discussion that revolves around the deco last, as you can see:
1000
1000
1000
1000
1000
1000
Note that G&G do a deco Warwick as their normal stock in vintage rioja, well worth checking out - http://www.gazianogirling.com/products/warwick-deco-vintage-rioja. They also do the Mitchell in midnight blue on the deco last, which is currently my favourite wingtip - so much so that I got it in Voak as well and have a black pair on order. Connaught is a great idea - love the idea of an austerity wingtip. Has anyone ordered a Deco in the new rounded-toe iteration? Haven't seen any pictures of them in the wild yet ...

I've heard the round deco is really nice. Would def be up for a pair. Not sure if you gain anything doing gmto for deco though?

The round deco examples in the Savile Row store are gorgeous. I'm still on the fence about committing though until I see it in its real-life incarnation.

Point taken on whether there is value in doing a deco GMTO. I'd surmise that since G&G has done stock runs on the deco last at non-deco prices, there is a theoretical precedent. I'd not want to hazard a guess as to whether the stock deco-lasted shoes are "full" decos in terms of construction and treatment, but it would appear that G&G see enough of a market to at least partially meet the need of consumers who see the deco form and go :inlove: but who look at the full price and go .

Like other GMTO's it's just a matter of seeing whether there's a price point and order size that makes it worthwhile - any retailers able to answer?

Antibes in Polo Suede and Dark Brown Alligator will be 10900 SEK ex VAT. If you would like a matching Cedar Alligator then it will be a lot more expensive as G&G would have to source a hide for this specific purpose while if it's dark brown gator they could use some off cuts.

Thanks Leaves, do you have a picture of GG's dark brown gator by chance? If it's not too dark, it might not be an issue.

Either way, I would still be down...
