1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Leather-I have used Skoak shoe trees on GG (when they were out of GG trees) and they seem fine.

They are the TG73. The sizes on the website are the UK sizes.

I've been told by SA that sizes on the web are US sizes.

Hmmm, l looked at them in-store a couple of weeks ago and I seem to recall that the boots were marked 9E. Maybe I was looking at a different pair from the ones you purchased. I always go by what the shoes are marked.

Is there any chance the Paul Stuart boots are cheaper in store? Y'all are terrible influence haha. I'm going to eat a late lunch. If they're still there it was meant to be haha

Do it! A well fitting Chelsea boot is probably the most comfortable thing ever. Like having a leather glove for your foot.

That and they're perfect flying footwear. Super easy to pop on and off for the TSA. Although I really just need suck up my morals and get pre-check...

Chelseas an be a tough fit for those of us with a high instep, but the really good ones are gorgeous, and the Burnham is really, really good.

I have a double whammy -- my instep is really high but my foot is fairly narrow. When getting for St. Crispin's I ended up down in a 9 E (their narrow fit) and +3mm to the instep. It seems like G&G's lasts are somewhat narrow so that works well for me.

I have heard that G&G can do something to increase the instep on MTOs though, right?

Thanks for posting this :) I work nearby and just went to Paul Stuart few mins ago. Snagged the 9E tagged pair and it fits good.
I usually wear 8.5 E but somehow this 9 E fits me great as well. No heel slip and nice fit on the TG73 last. The sales rep. mentioned to me that it is made as per 9 US size by G&G.
    Few pics here !!
