I have to say that chukka boots are probably my least favorite style of footwear, yet G&G can somehow even make them look good. I feel like the Arran is the sleek stealth bomber of chukkas.

I used to feel the EXACT same way. Then I saw a picture of a gentleman on here with Kudu chukkas and pleated, cuffed, trousers. Complete home-run; changed my perspective on them forever. I went out and bought two pleated trousers - had my tailor cuff and taper them from the knee down and now I can look wonderful as well.

I also used to think poorly on Chelsea boots...Now they're probably my favorite boot to wear.

Chukkas are easily my favourite style of shoe (boot) and the Arran has long been on my list of wants. When I retire and have less need of oxfords, I envision myself in chukkas almost every day. Very versatile footwear.

Love Chelseas too, but they are a tough fit with my high instep.

For single MTO, you can request to add an instep fitting.

I had a pair of Church's Ryder III's from a few years ago and they didn't fit properly, so I sold them and picked up a couple of Arrans. I wore the hatch grains yesterday and I have a pair of fox suede on order. Should be done in about a month.

Chestnut Hatch is amazing. I highly recommend for your next pair if you don't have one already.

Very nice. My next purchase would be something in Chestnut Hatch. Someone already grabbed the amazing Hove that Skoak is carrying in my size (he who hesitates...).
