    There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    With the ongoing brexit, $120 should be fine.

    Wouldn't this darken the shoes a good bit?

    For vintage cherry I use Saphir Reno, Saphir Hermes red polish, and neutral wax.

    My Burnhams have seen their share of wear - but you'd never tell after the @jokb got through giving them a proper shine.

    RE: Vintage cherry -- thanks for all the suggestions everyone! Do you ever end up using a little bit of black to touch up the burnish?

    @RogerP

    My shoes usually look better shine after shine when I send them to @jokb

    The cream and was seem to build up for the better.

    Great photo! This highlights just how pointy the Deco shape is. Wow.

    Navy blue Saphir cream. Trust me. It's the polish I use the most of - it works on everything mid-tone plus: from vintage cherry, vintage rioja, racing green, vintage oak, vintage chestnut, even on my black shoes.

    You're welcome.

    Bear in mind the shoe tree is pointier than the actual deco shoe because it fits inside.

    (As I say that, I recognise it's like saying the antenna makes the Freedom Tower look taller than it actually is. Antenna or not, it's still pretty damn tall. And yes, the deco is pretty damn pointy. Just not as pointy as the shoe tree. :lol:)

    Just a note (which probably has been discussed before, but hey), the G&G standard tree to the left is not having the toe shape of TG73. They use a "generic" toe nowadays, but since all lasts (except KN14) are the same except the toe shape it works fine and can more or less be called a lasted tree anyway. But if you look at the toe shape in that picture, it's way rounder than the actual TG73 last. The last itself is very square, since all the layers of leather will round off the shape a lot. To illustrate, here below is a MH71 last in size UK10 F-widht (used as a base for my bespoke lasts) and as you can see the toe is much more square than the tree above, and then the TG73 last would obviously be more square than this:

    That's the advice from Neus@saville row. For vintage rioja, she recommends a combination of black, blue and burgundy cream.
