1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Leather SPA in NYC can also do that very well. I have send them a few pair of Lobbs that they did the toppy/french metal tip combo and they looks great. Thats where the Lobb store i bought the shoes sent me to. I have heard good things about B. Nelson as well.

I couldn't say with certaintity because although I own 5 G&G shoes and boots I only have two different Lasts. But everything I've seen and heard is that the only difference between their various Lasts is the toe box so my guess would be that the instep would be the same regardless of the Last.

@TtownMD what is your shoe count up to now, about a year after joining the forum? Just asking out of curiosity. And fascination. :)

Lucky bastard who doesn't have to deal with overly-wide V-gaps!! :cloud:

The correct technical term was discussed ad nauseum a few months back on this thread, but at G&G the working term they communicated to me is "instep cone" - as I understand it, it's attached to the standard last during the lasting process to give a roomier instep. At any rate, since discovering this as an option all my MTOs have included it.

In other words, you're being audited Robert.

Please submit copies of the invoices for all GG purchases made in fiscal year 2015. A wear and condition report would be helpful as well.
