There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I think you would want to try an F fitting and see how it fits - if it is clearly too wide, then the E theoretically is the right width, but you could be in-between. I don't see why the forefoot would ease - maybe the insole gives in a little, but if your toe is squeezed, this won't improve - IMHO. The reverse could be asked of Dean`s opinion - if the forefoot eases on a perfectly fitting shoe, it would then be too large, right!? So, no, easing is not a valid reason to hope a shoe will fit. $1800 is a very large amount of money. Save it up, and get something that fits. I`m sure they would prefer a happy customer than a dissatisfied customer.

Yes i saw this picture while searching online and it looks awesome :) .
Didn't realize it was your design and i am glad that i went for this as it looks much better on the sleeker deco last.
Thanks a lot for the sizing info and really appreciate it.

@grc1 on a second thought, I would say actually stay clear from these. I think I have seen pics of these pairs before (or something very similar), and in all occasions, there were weird creases above the cap toe. Some blamed the people picking the wrong size, but to me when it happens that often, it must be a design fault, i.e they seem to put the cap toe too low.

No fear. I mean I love deco, but not for everything! I wouldn't order these ever.

Thanks for looking out for me, though ;)

Just received my ST James II MH71 in F last and they're pretty tight. I have a 11.5UK in TG73 E last and pretty much feels the same as the 11UK F last. I hope they will loosen up. I can almost close the gap at the top, but painful to wear them now for more than an hour.

That's odd since the only difference between those Lasts should be that the Toe Box is a bit more narrow on the TG73.

So maybe I should have tried the 11.5UK in F also to give more width to the feet. I tried a broken-in 11UK F in store and felt fine.

So the St James are 11F? I would think that's about right. A 11.5E will be similar to a 11F for width in my experience.

Aren't all G&G lasts the same? The TG73 and MH71 both felt similar in terms of toe area when I tried them on.
