1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Northern Georgia, at basically the same latitude as Atlanta.

Mine are all in containers, and I transplanted them about three weeks ago.

I haven't done anything special. They're in whatever organic soil it was that Home Depot had, and I added Garden Tone organic fertilizer when I transplanted them. Other than that, I've watered basically every other day while accounting for rain, and I'll fertilize again as each plant sets fruit (maybe tonight for the green peppers if those almost-blossoms flower).

Question for anyone who might be inclined to answer: My wife bought some lettuce from the store, hydroponic IIRC, and it still has a nice root ball attached. If I plant that and take care of it, is there any chance I'll have success growing it? The lettuce that's on there is super healthy and green, so it seems like it might come back, but I don't want to waste my time if it's a lost cause.

Put some stuff in pots last weekend. Didn't take a photo of the big pitcher plant I got but I love those things. It's a double-flowering one, too.

This is my favorite. The flowers are just growing every which way and the pot is awesome.

Thought I had more room in the pots but I didn't so i just stuck them in a pot. Going to get something to cascade in the front. Maybe something yellow? IRDK.
