Has anyone else read this? The guy should have been hauled off by the fashion police before the cops had to even step in. What a freak!
The article doesn't quote Galliano's remarks, but they've been quoted by commenters in the comments.
Here's another take on it. One comment on this article quotes French papers alleging Galliano said: "«Dirty jewish face, you should be dead» (Sale tête de juif, tu devrais être morte) et «******* Asian bastard, I will kill you» (Putain de de bâtard asiatique, je vais te tuer).

ration."
And once we're at at, here's a priceless comment posted on this article:
What passes for anti-semitism these days? Saying a certain ethnic group seems to eat up all the pricey real estate in New York City or runs the media or influences the monetary markets or shouldn't be so belligerent in the Middle East, runs a theocratic government claiming to be a democracy but actually practices apartheid, is stealing Palestinian land, is forever building NEW settlements and gets more than any other country in foreign aid from the US? That same rogue country which 14 of 15 nation states just condemned in the United Nations, but the US refused to admit the truth because of organized domestic influence and continues to support one more heinous, arrogant, belligerent, violent, self righteous ally we should do without. Some people would call even those observations anti-semitic, but can facts be anti-semitic?
One great quote here: "The witness said that Mr. Galliano replied, to the woman, "You're ugly, and your bag is ugly, too."
(This thread can really be posted in many of the forums here (style, fashion, entertainment &culture, news, etc.), so I chose what I thought would fit best.)
