G-Star Boots quality?

Hello, anyone has some experience with g star footwear? I saw this model that I like. I know is not going to be like a good boot from a good reputable footwear brand or anything like that, but , is this still some decent quality or just garbage?

The leather probably isn't going to hold up for more than 1 or 2 seaons. It looks like the type of leather that will quickly look all wrinkled up and ugly. And I'm not sure that buckle thing will hold up very well.

For 145 bucks you can do a lot better, but if you really like those boots, you should get them. Personally I think you should just get a pair of quality black chelsea boots, and wear the **** out of them without polishing them. They'll look a lot more authentic than this pair.

Thanks, I was looking for a chelsea type with zip and probably ruubber sole, like this one. Would you know some model or band like That?

I always loved G-Star jeans, but I saw these boots on Idris Elba in the March issue of GQ UK. Does anyone know where to buy them and what the name of them are? I couldn't find any boots on the website. Here is the pic of him wearing them....

They look like the 'G STAR Patton III Marker High-Ankle Leather Boots' but its hard to tell from that pic.

Not a fan of G-Star though. I think you could find some much better quality ones from a different brand, probably at a lower price. Plus they won't have G-STAR stamped all over them...

@henree I don't think they're the ones you mentioned a, but I do like those as well.
