G&G Toulouse - How to Wear Them

Hi All,

I bought a pair of G&G Toulouse loafers in Black Calf a little while back and am not really sure what to wear them with - I guess my issue is not knowing how formal they come off as. Does anybody have this shoe or any insight into what wears well with them?

I have to say I’m not a fan, but if you buff them up to a healthy glow, you could do different shades of gray. I suppose someone could make the argument for denim, but it would depend on the particular wash.

they’re black but they still fall within the realm of casual shoes.

It’s always a bit surprising to me when folks spend what must have been a significant amount for an item of clothing or shoes without really knowing what to wear them with. I think you can wear these as casual loafers. Dark denim and sport coat would probably work.

I have a pair that's in the same general ancestral tree, and I like them with a pair of black and grey plaid trousers, and a charcoal merino long sleeve polo...

Hmm. An interesting design; they're basically just a variation of a penny loafer.
I agree with the above. They lean more casual and can be worn with flannels and other less formal trousers, maybe even dark jeans.
