Still waiting for yours? Any news from Mark?
yes still waiting. No, he never updates me proactively, I have to keep e-mailing. Sometimes I get a response, sometimes not.

I've waited a year. I think I am going to throw in the towel and just ask for a refund.

If I remember correctly you ordered something really simple, essentially a stock model.

Is it the EG's they can't deliver on? Or also the GG's?

I do not know anymore. I switched my order from EG to G&G middle of the September, It has been almost four months but still no shoes, I ordered a pair of Vintage Rioja Wigmores.

I ordered Tetburys (stock item) and took roughly a few months. If it's a stock item(notwithstanding EG), EoM is a good stockist.

What would you guys recommend I should do at this point? I was told my boots would be ready by the13th. I haven't heard anything so I emailed them. No reply. Sent 2 more follow up emails and still no reply...

My MTO G&Gs from EoM took nearly 6 months and it got sent back for a refund due to bad QC from G&G.

The discount was attractive to use for testing out the fit on the G&G lasts but don't think I'm ever patronizing G&Gs again. Bad QC, doesn't matter if it's dirt cheap.

I don't think the fault is entirely with EoM. As you pointed out, you returned the shoes due to bad QC on G&G's part. Yes, EoM should have checked the shoes prior to dispatching them to you. But then I have also received faulty G&Gs from another vendor. The important thing is how the vendor handles the issue - eg offer a full refund or get G&G to make you another pair.
