TM Lewin - 4 shirts for 100 lbs or $195. This price includes VAT so for US residents after the VAT is factored out and the shipping is added the price remains about the same.

Not a bad deal for shirts with retail up to 79 lbs. Some nice patterns and not bad quality with a new semi-fitted option I have never tried. The regular fit shirts are a bit tent like.

Anybody have any experience with the semi-fit?

4 for 100 gbp has been the standard price for the past couple of years. i don't think lewin actually sells shirt 79 gbp - it's just marked that way to get you to think that there is a good deal available.

the lewin's are ok. a bit tent like, as you mentioned, for the regular fit. also, i find them to be a pain to iron, relative to other brands such as tyrwhitt. no experience with the semi-fit, but i imagine they are 3 to 5 inches slimmer than regular fit.

if you get lewin, go up a 1/2 inch in the collar. I usually wear a 16 collar (BB, tyrwhitt, etc), but take a 16.5 collar in lewin.

The biggest pain with Lewins is that they love to make the normal sleeve length at 36 inches instead of most shirts at 35 which accomodates short armers like me at 33-34 and where the arm length is not such that you have to wear bands on the arms.

They shirnk awfully and the fabrics are ok. They had a 140's that was nice but they discontinued it, and that one didnt' shirt so i'm left with large shirts that i'm still bitter about. I think there are better shirts for the money (but isn't their always with time) but a nice way to fill in on shirts if you are in the market for a bunch. Was better a year or two aago when the pound wasn't so much...ahhh inflation.

Definitely - their shirts always seem to be "on sale". Their luxury twill fabrics seem pretty nice - I own a few.

2 or 3 of the Lewins I own are the semi-fitted line. I find them to be quite narrow, certainly more so than the 1 or 2 fitted CT shirts I own. I'm 6' tall and 175 lbs, if that helps you gauge things.

As to NoVaguy's comment, I have not found the collar size to be an issue myself. I wear a 15.5 in Lewin and do so with pretty much everything else I own, too.

Hope that helps.
