What, in your opinion, is the funniest SF post ever?  For intentional comedy, I'm going with the post critiquing ernest's shirt wardrobe using ernest-speak.  (Punch line:  "Why three blue shirts?  You a stewardess?")  I still laugh when I think about it; I wish I could find it in the archives.  For unintentional comedy, styleman's post about meeting with world leaders and captains of industry takes the cake.

Let's not forget the "RLPL butt thong" which induced convulsions in me.

Any of the threads which degenerated into kalra versus ernest were pretty funny.

I don't remember the details, but somebody was talking about shaving his nuts and said it's best when the testicle is hard like a walnut.

    Great stuff.

The Butt Thong thread was classic because it brought out the inner 7th grader in all of us.

I really want to read this quote, but its been banished to the Phantom Zone.

I even tried PMing J about releasing it. Maybe, he could even keep it locked so nobody could further respond, but release it so that we could finally read it.

Although, it seems Ask Andy forum has more trolls, and therefore you get more comedy.

For unintentional comedy, I would have to give it to marc au who wrote:

"People are not sufficiently evolved enough to avoid war, we haven't learnt from the previous wars. What we need is one bid war so we learn that violence is not the answer."

Even though it was not originally posted on this forum (it has been reprinted here however), the Josh "˜clear metal collar stays' thread is one of the funniest ever. Ernest posting about his email to The Donald was pretty hilarious (especially RJMan): "Perhaps a ernest will star in a French version of The Apprentice? L'Apprenti? Vous êtes virÃ[IMG]. What would the goal be? Who can best game the French unemployment system?" [IMG] Jon.

Thinking about it again, I guess the way they'd kick out contestants would be by employing them:
    "You're hired."
    "Mais NOOOOOOOOOOOON..."

From the thread about Wearing Girls Jeans:

"I think a bunch of them think I am gay or at least metro sexual, but I assure you, I am not. They probably get this idea from me hanging out with girls most them time, and I take a shower every day."

    -------------------------
There's just so much to start with here - like the fact that taking a shower everyday is apparently considered a telltale sign of being gay or that the concept of "metrosexual" is, I believe, being confused with "bisexual" and our author wants to assure us that he is neither.

I'm going to nominate Marc's posts about

*magic alien water with curative properties
*the state of his stool (with pictures..)
*absorbing all the nutrients you need from the air

    and etc.

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Marc, Ernest, and everyone else who makes me laugh my ass off.

    I like it the lamb.
