1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I think it would be "Shakiest Gun in the West" with Don Knotts.

    From school days "Holy Grail"

Later "Naked Gun" and "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels"

From my time as a cop the awesome "Super Troopers" (a documentary!)

Frank Drebin is emptying out his files after being kicked off the force]
Frank: Hey! The missing evidence in the Kelner case! My God, he really was innocent!
Ed: He went to the chair two years ago, Frank.
    Frank: Well, uh...
[Frank Drebin quickly shoves the evidence back into the file cabinet]

    And my all time favorite-

"Doctors say that Nordberg has a 50 - 50 chance of living, though there's only a 10 percent chance of that."

I bastardize this line every time someone quotes me odds. Mrs Nonk does the same.

Anyone seen the Old Fry & Laurie sketch about the Open University blooper from 1973? Same idea.

Here is a treat, although I don't know if the non UK based members will get the cultural reference about the OU.

This is pretty remarkable, if you think about it. How many different kinds of "funniest movie ever" there are. The Gods Must Be Crazy, while a fine film, wouldn't even crack my top 50... Don Knotts and the Marx Brothers movies either, and thats assuming that I could think of that many comedies right off the top of my head. I never really thought Monty Python movies were that funny either. As far as British Comedy goes, I thought that Red Dwarf was much more entertaining. Maybe I'm just not old-school enough.
