    So it looks like people are conflicted on these, but I wanted to see if broguing does anything to improve the look.

    imo, they are a nice addition to the great peppblegrain AE's you got on ebay. keep it up.

    Tassels yes. Broguing and tassels No. But I'm from New England and the Weejun is the standard here.

    I didn't actually end up buying those... And I think those were from Etsy. And this is the seller's picture, not mine.

    i dunno what/who this/he is. still think you lost out on a great pair of shoes. that's how life goes. not always fair to the ignoramus, imo. carry on. a new game, a new chance, not?

    Those hit the trifecta...kilts, tassels and broguing. They bring back fond memories of my first Allen Edmonds I bought around 1988 or so...Arlington is the model name, slip on wingtip toe, enormous kilt and tassels...I will say they could be a smidge "fussy" for some people but I like the look.
