It may be a cliche, but it's absolutely true---pictures do NOT do this tie justice. Up for sale is one of the real fall/winter staples. I'm not sure of the vintage, but the label has me thinking 60's or 70's. The color is sort of a medium maroon, and the keeper is cranberry red velvet. The blade is lined in dark red silk. The best part is the fabric. It's a 70/15/15 wool/mohair/alpaca mix. The makeup allows for a substantial knot with very little weight. The hand is just something else. Condition is superb.
