1. Hi. We moved systems, and because it was impossible to achieve feature parity between the systems, we opted to archive the old B&S threads but allow users to read them so that they can put them into our new B&S system.

There is a support thread if you have any issues.

    Cheers,

    Fok.

These are brand new shoes from Vass. They are in F last, size 41, calf leather, and come with lasted trees and shoe bags. They should fit those who fit well in EG UK size 7.5E.

The toe area has factory installed flush rubber piece to prevent undue toe wear, a very nice detail. The pair in dark cognac has some showroom wear on the soles. The pair in black is factory fresh. Price is US$550 shipped. I will only take personal checks or cash. Please email me at [email protected] with questions etc. Thanks.

Old English Plain (without heel counter), F last, size 41, black calf.

those are really nice. especially the cognac medallion. that is the kind of shoes you want to wear to work. attract the attentions of fellow workers. they ask you about the shoes and you start inspiring them to look for good shoes as well. maybe not to the level of vass or lobb, but they do pay more attention to their footwear after awhile and asking for your comment and such . receptionist in the morning will always be asking you: "good morning brian, what shoes you got on today? oh...nice! ok seeya later"[IMG] [IMG]

$550 is a steal of a price too

Both pairs are still available. Sorry, I can't take returns at these prices. They used to retail for $1200 in BG.

Could you post a couple more angles of the cognac, if it's not too much trouble?

Here you go. The heel is plain with a seam in the centre. There is no heel counter. Hope that helps.

the shoes look great. i usually only like heel counters on full on semi/wingtip brogues, where the ornate decoration needs a balance in the back.

this is more a simple design which is very clean and nice. i think a counter on these would offset the balance.

    Agreed, especially on black shoes.

I am surprised nobody jumped on these 2 pairs of F last yet.

If they were my size I'd have grabbed them in a New York minute, c'mon guys!

AP, these are close to your size: would you say one should size up 0.5 on an F last compared to the more traditional Vass lasts (I have a derby in 40.5 in one of the 3000 Vass lasts...I forget which one...that fits very well)?

I ask this because I recall reading that for U lasts sizing up a half is advisable, but I'm assuming that is mostly true for larger shoe sizes.

These two pairs from K are very nice....very tempting...I hate to swim in shoes, though...I like a tight fit.

    Vox...

I take my usual size in U last but many do size up. I think you will be fine, but given that these are coming form HK, I would hate to give you bum advice. But I will anyway, go for it!
