OK so, my piece of crap digicam just died. I'll upload a bunch more pics in about half an hour once it's recharged. This suit is one serious piece of work. In the 1990's, Mariano commissioned a RTW line of suits. They were made by either Brioni or Belvest. This particular example is clearly a Belvest (see inner label for confirmation) and was made for Louis Boston. The fabric is absolutely gorgeous; a midweight, midgray flannel with a somewhat subtle blue overcheck. The hand is lush and just feels really comfortable when worn. The jacket is a 6x2 DB with nice-looking peak lapels. On RTW DB, it seems all too easy to **** up a peak lapel, but Belvest did some very nice work here. There are 3 buttons per sleeve, none of which have been cut yet. The coat has side vents and moderately padded shoulders (the usual Belvest treatment). The trousers are also exceedingly beautiful. The front features triple reverse-pleats and really cool looking brace buttons. The price on this is $175 shipped in the CONUS. If payment is made before about 10 PM today, I will ship tomorrow morning/early afternoon via Priority Mail. MEASUREMENTS: Coat... Shoulder: 18.25" Chest: 42.5" Length (bottom of collar down): 29.75" Sleeve: 25.5" Trousers... Waist: 32" with 1.5" to let (probably a little more actually, looks as if it was taken in) Inseam: 30.25" with 1" under the hem and 1.5" cuffs. If additional info/measurements are needed, contact me.
