1. Hi. We moved systems, and because it was impossible to achieve feature parity between the systems, we opted to archive the old B&S threads but allow users to read them so that they can put them into our new B&S system.

There is a support thread if you have any issues.

    Cheers,

    Fok.

Purchased from RIDER a while ago but never worn - the proceeds are going towards a Chan suit.

These are beautiful shoes - very substantial. Color is Iron Dark Brown. 74 last. Size is UK8/US9, but 74 fits small so this would be a size US8.5. New in perfect condition with box.

Retail would be around $400. My price is $175 shipped CONUS.

Also check out my auction on ebay for NIB AE Hastings: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=190143769211

    Thanks

Someone please buy them before I get home from work or they may replace my desire for a Santoni.

Did you have those specifically made for you in that last? I thought that model Martegani normally came on the 3B last.

No, I believe it was a one of a kind sample.

I really need to get a pair of marteganis. They look like they are a great value compared to other makes.

They really are. While I am no expert, in my opinion they are $600-700 shoes priced around $375-400. They are so much nicer in person than in the photos too. The only problem is that there aren't a lot available at sale prices here in the U.S., so while Santonis and C&J can readily be found on eBay and here in the sales forum at prices below $300, Marteganis often have to be bought at retail.
