Hmm. The seller quoted me $8 to Canada by private msg, which doesn't seem unreasonable considering what some sellers want to get stuff across the border. It looks like many US zip codes are more than that in the calculator. I don't know if $15 is enough to count as "excessive".

I guess I'm comfortable looking at it as "quick release buckle: $16, shipped".

totally forgot about this auction. i probably would have gone with one of the filson belts which have removable buckles.
