I hate to do this, but I am testing the waters on my pair of Edward Green Galway boots in Dark Oak (DOAK) / Mink Suede. The shade of DOAK on these boots is really spectacular. These are size 8.5/9E on the 82 Last. Flush metal toe plates/taps are installed. Double leather soles. Condition is as seen in photos.

I am only selling these because they are slightly too large. My preference (big preference) is to find a trade for another pair of EG shoes (preferably Galways) in Size 8/8.5 in comparable condition. I'm willing to negotiate cash (either way) to facilitate a trade, if the right boots/shoes are available. If you have a pair of 8/8.5 Galways and are looking for a half size larger, let's talk!

These boots are gently used. See photos. No shoe trees are included in this sale/trade.

My asking price is $699 shipped CONUS if we do a cash sale. Let me know what you'e got. I will ship internationally, but please PM to discuss.

With EG boot prices now ~$1500 plus tax in the USA, these are a great deal that will be increasingly hard to find! As it is, you don't see many Galway boots for sale on the secondary market.

Those things are beautiful. I take it you state the US size?

I am a UK 9 - 9.5 and if these had any chance of fitting me I would take them.

The US size is 9 (EG states their sizes in UK/US). "E" width is "normal" width for US.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
