Hello,
I purchased this coat brand new from a forum member a couple of months ago.
This is the '09 version and does not feature the elbow pads nor the triangle throat latch the newer versions have.
Against the sizing advice of other members, I took the chance because this coat is truly amazing! Alas, the coat does not fit me well because I'm not tall enough (5'8"). The shoulders and chest fits perfect but the sleeves and length are simply too long! I wore it about twice outside.
I almost took the coat to the tailor to make it work and that speaks on the quality of the coat because... just look at my username.
But, I knew I wouldn't be happy with the distance between the button and sleeve had I had it shortened.
I'm just going to accept the fact that it doesn't fit and pass it on to someone who can really wear it.
This is a real winter coat, haha, you will realize this as soon as you pick it up.
