Yes, single reverse pleat.

A sharp observer noted that I had the ankle measurement incorrectly listed as a very large 11". It is actually 8.75" and has been fixed.

I didn't see a 40R but one may always turn up. I'll keep my eyes open.

I don't think there's a chance of flat front pants. The suits--they all looked identical upon cursory inspection--seemed to all have single pleats.

I also took down the rather awful pictures I snapped late last night of me in the jacket. The shoulders are on the strong side, as seems to be the standard with Canali in my experience, and with the lighting and angle they were not photographing well. The pics were just not doing the suit justice.
