I must be a masochist but whenever I come across Bergdorf stuff I can't pass it up so here it is:

Two Cantarelli 38R sportjackets. Unlined except for sleeves, side vents, 3 button, 4 buttons on sleeves. These are very nice, retail is $995. They are a bit on the casual side but I would easily wear them in a business casual environment. $175 shipped each. The first is a green moss and the second is a brown with rust windowpanes which are barely noticable. Shoulders are
17 1/2, 40 inch chest, length from bottom of collar is 29 inches, 25 inch sleeves. Shoulders seem small but keep in mind that these jackets are somewhat unconstructed and made to fit like a sweater. I'm a 40R and the shoulders fit me fine.

Next up two Boglioli cotton/cashmere jackets. Cloth is Ermenegildo Zegna 91% cotton / 9% cashmere. 3 buttons, leather covered buttons, side vents, ticket pocket. Fully Lined. These are an awesome casual look. $995 retail. $175 shipped each.

Blue 42R.Shoulders 18.5, length 31, 44 chest, 25 inch sleeves.

Muted lavender/purple 44R. 19 inch shoulders, 25 7/8 sleeves, 46 chest, 31 inch length.

Bergdorf Goodman, made by Cantarelli, navy flat front cords. Size 34 (50EU)100% cotton, fuly lined. 34 waist, 9 1/2 knee, 8 1/8 cuff. $75 shipped

Hunter Green Incotex cords, size 40. Flat front, 40 inch waist, 10 1/2 knee, 9 3/8 cuff.

Burnt orange Incotex cords. I have these in 34 and 36. Flat fronts. 36 has a 9 7/8 knee and 9 inch cuff. 36 has a 9 3/4 knee and a 9 inch cuff. $65 shipped

Still have these Incotex 91cotton/9cashmere cords. Light burgandy color. Size 38 - 38.5 waist, 10 1/4 knee, 9 1/4 cuff. $150 shipped ($595 retail)

A pair of Valentini cords. Valentini's are becoming my favorite pants. These are thick dark red cords. Lined to the knee, very well made. Size 34 (50 EU), 35 inch waist, 9 5/8 knee, 8 3/8 cuff. $95 shipped, these are pricey but I'd rather keep them anyway.

Also still have these size 32 (48EU) red cotton Valentini's. $55 shipped

Pantherella 55% cashmere/30%wool/15%nylom socks. They are marked irregular, can't see whats wrong. $12 shipped each.

Lastly, I have these silk/wool Bergdorf sweater, it's a size large and it has the tiniest of imperfections on the upper left, right below the shoulder. I doubt anyone would notice it unless you look for it. Anyway, I can return it but if someone wants it for $35 shipped, let me know

sweater is yours. Sleeves on the Cantarelli are actually 25 inches, not 23.

someone should grab those Valentinis. I was talking to a store owner that carries incotex a little while back and he said he thought Valentini was a better pant, but that the name recognition would prevent their store from carrying them over Incotex. Great pant

What is the construction/quality like on the first two jackets? Are they canvassed? Also what is the fabric like - would you be able to wear it in any season?

They are half canvassed (chest, and I think lapels), 100% wool and somewhat unconstructed. Seem to be no padding in the shoulders. Fit is sweater like. You can wear these in 3 seasons, they would probably be a bit much for July, August in NYC. The green is sold. You can do a search on Cantarelli for threads on the quality.

Ed, I'm interested in the brown Cantarelli. Do you have any other pics? It's a little hard to tell the surface texture/color from those, as the focus is a little shaky.

I'm interested in the brown jacket as well and wouldn't mind seeing some more pics as well. Do you think this would be too short for someone who is 6'1"? I'm mostly legs I would say, but I have one suit and the length is 30", and I was just trying to see if 1 inch shorter would be too much but it is hard to tell. Is this cut shorter because it is more casual?

Guys, I'll post better pics tomorrow morning with some daylight, I am going to bed. The color and texture are hard t get with indoor lights. My guess is that 29 would be too small if you are 6'1, unless you plan on using it with jeans and/or cords.

Ed - is this guy you, or did this guy buy the same Cantarelli jackets as you? He has exactly the same Cantarelli jackets as the two on sale here.
