The 44R Brioni sportjacket has a reserve price, but it's pretty easy to figure out

Hi Ed,
I took the link to your auctions and went to the first Brioni auction. When I clicked on "Bid History", I got the following:

http://offer.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=330074784762

I've never seen this before :

As the internet evolves, eBay continues to strike a balance between preserving transparency and protecting our Community of members. eBay has decided to change how bid history information is displayed so bad guys cannot target bidders with fake offers using this information. In certain cases, some bidders will no longer be able to view Bidder User IDs on the Bid History page. Your User ID will be shown only to you and the seller of the item you're bidding on. Other members will see an anonymous name, such as Bidder 1, applied consistently to the Bid History page.

Is this something that you set up? I've never seen it before on an Ebay auction?

Regards and Thanks,
Arnold H

BTW: The Brioni's are great as are the prices. With a fancy ad layout and lavish pictures, I bet you would get a lot more but I know you are not a full time seller. 2 people will be very lucky and happy if they reach your reserve on the coats!

It's a new ebay thing, has nothing to do with me. I'm thinking of trying to pick up one of those mannequins you see wearing suits/sportjackets in some of the ads. I think it gives a better idea of how a jacket will fit and maybe get some higher prices. Although, that becomes a lot of work and I don;t need sky high bids, happy just to make a sheckel or two

Thanks,
Here's a Nomentano 21 that got $730 on Ebay. It's certainly no more desirable than yours IMO. But the seller is obviously full time. As they say if it works, like your current format, don't fix it.

BTW: Did Ebay set your Bidder's History up that way, or did you request it? I ask because many current similar auctions are still in the old format.
