1. Hi. We moved systems, and because it was impossible to achieve feature parity between the systems, we opted to archive the old B&S threads but allow users to read them so that they can put them into our new B&S system.

There is a support thread if you have any issues.

    Cheers,

    Fok.

Hey everyone, Here's what the blurb says on eBay: "This is an absolutely beautiful pair of Marc Jacobs pants. These Pants have a flat front, a button waist, buttons fly, and have 2 insert front with small coins pockets and 2 rear pockets. They are a complete Black in color, size 34x36 and 100% Italy Cotton and made in Italy , on the marc Jacobs tag read : Style MUH215U are brand new with tags from a major department store and have a retail of $290.00! And guaranteed 100% Authentic!! NO RESERVE! Shipping will be $10.00 to the continental US with International rates quoted individually. I accept PayPal (preferred) and money orders only. Check my other auctions and I will combine multiple purchases for reduced shipping." http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...%3ACA%3A1&rd=1 ----- I am the current high-bidder on these pants at a very great price. However, post-bidding I found out that the actual measured waist of the pants is 36", not 34", as they're tagged. So, these will be too big for me and I do NOT wish to remain the high bidder. Hopefully there's someone here that will fit into these perfectly. They do seem a steal at that price.

Rather than waiting for someone to outbid you, contact the seller and ask him to cancell your bid. If he's reputable, and knows that you don't want his item and you bid by mistake, he should cancell your bid!

Alternatively, you can retract your bid. Use Ebay HELP to see how to do this.

    Good Luck.

    Thanks for the tip!!

I didn't know it was possible to retract a bid. Technically, I suppose it's my fault for not asking the exact measurements, but if the seller knew the pants measured 36" in the waist instead of 34", he/she really should have said so, just to eliminate any chance of this happening.
