Alas i still cant get the darn things to fit, thus rendering them useless. They are the Purple Label Barksdale Loafers in Edwardian Antique sz 9.5D. Light wear from trying them on and walking around in them, never really wore them because they hurt really bad, i think they pinched a nerve or vain in my foot.

If I wasn't a starving undergrad I'd take them off your hands in an instant. Gorgeous shoes.

If they still had these in a sz 10 i would buy them again in an instant. Thats the problem with buying online, you cant try em on and by the time i got them all the sz 10's were gone. I normally take a sz 9.5D but this last is a bit narrower and shorter then normal.

Perry,
I just sent you an email, via Ebay. And I'll send it again here. I'm a pretty true 9 1/2, in CJ, Paraboot, Peal. I know you had trouble with the fit. Are they a true 9 1/2?
thanks,
John

My perfect size would be 9D right foot and 9.5D left foot.

So I have worn both for years. In a 9D my right foot is happy and my left a bit crunched. In a 9.5D my left foot smiles and my right needs a toe pad.

But both work.

And I got outbid anyhow.

You really have to know your EG Lasts to know exactly how they will fit your own foot but they measure 11 3/4 in length and about 4 inches in width at there widest.
