I understand; international shipping is often absurd. When I was in Japan, my friend wanted me to send him some Japanese sake and a few packaged snacks as a gift. So, I bought them (total cost was probably $20), put them in a small package, and then took them to the post office. $68 later, they arrived safely at his door.

Anyway, does Deutsche Post have the equivalent of a flat-rate envelope for smaller items? For example, USPS has a small envelope that is about $9 for Global Priority. This scarf is small enough to fit inside that, if your post has a similar offering. If you could find a slightly cheaper shipping method, I think it would REALLY help your item sell quickly.
