EDIT: I've sent this back. Sorry!

I have found myself with two of these coats, ordered from STP a couple of weeks ago. They are now sold out, but I'm offering up my extra here in case anyone missed out and is feeling remorseful. If I get no takers, I'll send it back to STP later this week. My price is $250 shipped, which is also my cost, and so is firm. Size is 44 R. See link below for STP's full description.

Here are my reactions: It is darker than it appeared on my screen, but not outside the margin of error. It is short. At least, by my standards. It's short in a way that you say, OK, it's a stylistic choice, but I'm not convinced it would have been my choice...

The shoulders are totally unpadded and sport a spalla camicia, or at least an SC effect, with pick-stitching along the inside of the shoulder seam. Construction seems first-rate to my untrained eye, and the fit (on me) is excellent, other than the length (which, as I said, is a choice, not an error).

The collar is not leather-lined, regardless of what STP claims. The coat has a $798 price tag on the sleeve. I'm still trying to decide whether to keep my one remaining copy. I want to like it, but I'm not sure whether I can live with the jacket length or not.

Grim-

I posted in another thread, but I was wondering if it was a stylistic choice, or if the jacket was just really short. Apparently there were two colors choices, an Olive Heather and a Brown Heather. I thought I ordered the Olive, but received the Brown. I really like the material and style for the jacket, but I am 6"2 and not in a Thom Brown mood. Where can I find a similar fabric and style jacket?

I wish I knew. I think it's a stylistic choice though. I want to love the jacket, as the material is great and the construction is good, but I'm really torn about the length.

I was unaware that there were two colors. My packing slip says Olive, but the coat is darker and browner than I expected. I don't mind the color tho.
