Es on the 5 last fit me perfectly, so I suspect I've got a low instep. I could almost close the quarters on the lacing of a pair of Simpsons on a 6UK, any idea how Rain is in comparison?

Well, I haven't tried Simpson so I can't tell you but the concensus is the instep is higher. So if there is no V on your Simpsons in 6 UK then it would be likely that 6 UK Rain would not fit.

No they fit fine. The fact that they are chukkas helps. If they were shoes maybe not. My AE have large V though.
