4.5 yards (4.5 not 5 yards like it says in the title), Made in England, "Superfine All Wool". Don't know the maker but very soft to the touch, great drape, year round weight. $100 shipped anywhere in the US, overseas shipped at cost.

I know I should know this but... how much fabric is generally needed to make a 44L suit (2 piece) ?

I'm in the same boat as you, I never know how much fabric is needed but my understanding is that a good tailor will need about 3.5 yds (depending on pattern) for a two piece suit in the 40-44R range. You will need to extrapolate from there for a 44L but it would seem that 4.5 yds would have you covered.


P.S. this fabric is sold awaiting payment!
