This is a pre-order possibility if you are looking for a great overcoat. I have 3 brand new overcoats by Belvest coming in, 100% cashmere, in camel color. Sizes are Euro 48 (US 38), 50 (40) and 52 (42)

I dont have the measurements for the sizes so i have set a very low price to compensate for this. The coats will go to a swedish retailer if not sold in this pre-order sale
From my (limited to suits though) experience they fit pretty true to size.

Asking $500 each + $40 shipping (i ship from Sweden) = $540 per coat. This price is valid to anywhere in the world

If I wear a 50 suit size, should I get a 50 coat size or something bigger to accomodate a jacket inside the coat?

Yes, you should get a size 50 in that case

Do you know whether these coats are of full canvas construction? Also, can you describe the shape a little: Do they display any waist suppression, for example, or just hang straight? This could be quantified if you gave the waist measurements (around the tops of the pockets).
