I know the chance that you're not a troll is probably close to nil, but on the off chance that you aren't, I'm going to do you a favor: if you buy those trousers, I'm going to find you, kick your ass, and burn the pants.

Trust me. It's for your own good.

lol, I was going to go the full 9 yards Edward, Skin tight, low on the hips etc. What is wrong with them. Proper rockstar pants, no mistaking that...

You also posted this over at the fashion spot, but it is really quite hard to tell because Dsquared does numerous leather pants each and every season. I have nothing against leather pants, per se, but these really are hideous.

Anyway, I would guess that perhaps they are from autumn/winter 2004, in which they offered more styles of leather pants even than usual of this general type.

Nevertheless, by doing a little searching on your own at places like www.firstview.com or www.men.style.com might answer the question better than we could. These sites all have photos of the runway collections.

You could also try emailing Dsquared via their website. They might know better than anybody.

Properly done, I think leather trousers are quite chic.

Robert Smithson wore a black leather suit out in the deserts, when creating his Spiral Jetty.

It's those buckles on the front that weird me out. They're pointing towards the crotch going "Look at my knob -- it's right here." Like when Bush landed on that aircraft carrier with the crotch-highlighting parachute harness:
