1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Interesting article. Thanks Philo, although I'm not surprised at Corgis exclusion.

Is Corgi not at the same level of some of the labels listed?

In my experience, both Corgi & Pantherella have fallen in quality. The inclusion of Pantherella is somewhat surprising too, perhaps tokenistic.

"clouds of ghee" doesn't exactly connote fluffy goodness, to me anyway.

    Here's a tub of ghee:

Pantherella's generally feel nice, but every pair I own are maddeningly short - they are all mid-calf and don't stay up :embar:

Bresciani are the best in my opinion.

Gallo is tops for me---both in variety of colors and patterns and quality of the cotton.

I agree, best socks in my collection, both in cotton and extra fine merino. Almost as good Dore Dore and Sozzi .

I have just picked up this thread and thought I would post a reply - Scott Nichol are certainly worth a mention - have a look at our selection, they really do make a fantastic range of socks if you want to stand out from the crowd!
