Hey,

I would like to enlist the help of SF.net

I'm looking at the Oct 2008 Men's Ex and on page 66 there is a tan jacket from the label "Annisej". I actually quite like it. Can't really describe it other than it is tan, three button, with side pockets that button (don't have a scanner at home, can scan at work tomorrow).

Does anyone know how I could get one? A google search through SF.net turns up nothing and a search of the interwebz reveals Japanese sites which don't help me.

Any help would be appreciated.

Probably some obscure Japanese only brand that you can only get in Japan.

I figured that...*sigh*

Will scan tomorrow, even something similar would be interesting.

Thanks for the help though!

I've seen (and bought) a few brands in Japan that don't even show up in Google searches! Now that's obscure.

Post a scan. Usually, the name of the retailer and a telephone number is listed. I might be able to help.

Upon further review, I think I like the jacket much less than I originally though. However I do like the number of pockets. I think something similar would be nice for traveling, because of the pockets.

Does anyone know of a similar jacket at least?

They probably carry at Beams (shop in Japan). I'm pretty confident you could find it if you went to Tokyo, but not otherwise. I have gone looking for specific things I saw in magazines and found them pretty easily but they are not on the web.

It looks like the price and such is listed in the long narrow column under the man standing on the right. Like Tarmac says, I am sure that you could find it at Beams. It is possible that they would ship it to you, but it would probably take some late night long distance phone calls and a Japanese speaker on your end, or getting an English speaker on Beams' end.

the little note in the lower left-hand corner notes that the brand has just started business, which may explain why it's hard to find.

You might see if you can get it through the SF affiliate Rakuten,
thread here.

They seem to be able to get things through many Japanese shops, and their web site has a Japanese to English translator.

Use a Japanese proxy and ask him to either get it from a stockist or if he can find it on yahoo japan auctions (their ebay equivalent). Shouldn't be too hard...

Superfuture has a few japanese proxies...
