fwiw, I went with a cardigan because it was the only thing I had that had that nifty loose/flow/drape thing going for it. If I had a jacket like Tira's, I might have gone with that instead. Regardless, I think we'll see some interesting patterns emerge when the fits all get thrown together. In fact, this is what we got so far (you're welcome, EFV):

I think Crat's fit is a great example for the differences of SWD and MC, to an extent. He's wearing a leather jacket, white v-neck, jeans, and boots. Pretty much the SWD uniform. But he's wearing the MC version. Boots a bit dressier, jeans fit closer to pants instead of stacking on the boots, and the t-shirt is perhaps a bit smaller than in your typical SWD fit.

sorry that caustic man's picture was the first one I saw, most of the others are ok. Top half of flying monkey's is excellent. so is claghorn's cardigan.
note: I'm not a very frequent or well regarded SWD poster.

Not sure what I admire more in this thread, the clothing, or photography skills, nevertheless I was dressed for the challenge and never played before, thought I'd give it a go:

I think I'm out, folks. I'm definitely more MC Cazh than SWD today. I am pleasantly surprised to find that at least half of the fits submitted so far are actually good. At least through my MC-addled eyes...

SWD folks, please weigh in: When MC folk do "SWD" there are too many MC-style collared shirts involved. That's what stands out to me anyway.

I noticed all the collars as well.

But this appears to be infinitely better than last go round. Actually, in terms of fits in general, I see a lot less terrible outfits posted now on WAYWRN than were posted several years ago. Whenever I trawl the archives, I'm shocked at some of the abominations. The highs may have been higher, but the lows were also lower.

    Also,
if Spoo wins, I lose what little faith I have in democracy.
