Going to try this one more time. Lots of new posters turned out for the plaid/black challenge, and there was more going on in WAYWRN yesterday than it was all summer, which was nice to see at the least.

So, new challenge. Making the poal close early for our Furriner friends and ending it a day in advance so you can get your fits together. Just remember :

Added more options to choose from. They are :

-Best double breasted / 3 piece suit
-Best use of tweed
-Best use of the color orange
-Most unique shoes
-Enough with your stupid WAYWRN challenges, Spoo

My guess is that someone will wear a vintage DB tweed three piece suit with an orange tie and Allen-Edmonds spectators.

Yes, I'm lookin' at you, MBrenin.

I own no orange ties, nor Allen-Edmonds specs. However, I have multiple 3 piece DBs and a couple 3 piece tweed vintage suits.

Too hot for tweed. However, my most recent vintage 3 piece tweed suit should be ready at the tailors on Thursday.

If I don't have to wear it anywhere but the house, you are ON!!!

I think you should have had the black challenge next.

Also,

If you are going to go through the trouble of setting up the challenges, you should have a winner.

What team won plaid?

+1, I think another poal should be opened.

I like the idea of those challenges, Spoo.

I can´t support neither of your suggestions, though. This is why:

- i don´t own a three piece suit, nor a double breasted one
- it´s too early for tweed
- I used orange this week
- I think the most unique shoe will turn up some fair oddities
- there is no way i´d not support those challenges. The idea is great!

So, here comes my suggestion: best use of black.

I don't understand the last option. I think the challenges are great; they really liven things up in WAYWRN.

If it was a "team" effort, your beautiful daughter brought it home for the US of A.

If it is a single winner...that was clearly me.

I agree - on a team basis, i think the Yankees really came through ... whilst on an individual basis, both your DB with the subtle bow tie, as well as your full on plaid were very well done.

Spoo - i also thought black should be the obvious next choice.

Btw - in many companies, there is casual Friday (i think Threadbearer noted this too) ... so if 3 piece, or DB wins, i'm gonna sit this one out. no way i am wearing a 3 piece or DB to work on casual Friday ... unless i can find a 3 piece denim suit between now and then.

I suggest a Netherlands vs Spain WAYWRN...a knockdown, no-holds barred, clog versus sombrero, windmill against taco, below sea level clashing with Bilbao, fight to the death.
