Another way to approach this could be having people disclose what articles are thrift/vintage after the vote (along with price, if they want to "brag")
That way people aren't influenced in their voting...

Unless, of course, the point is factor in the thrift/price into the voting.
For example, "Wow, it's not the best outfit, but for $46 total, it gets my #1 vote for optimal price/performance value"

I just think the vintage item should be significant....as in a SC or a suit. And, it would be cool to see some all vintage fits.
