1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

This is gonna be a good one guys... below find the text straight from NOBD...

    DTO Day: Do The Other

I realize this is not really new. Besides that it happens all the time (..),
forum member voxsartoria did a few impressive tributes/imitations
in the past. (If you still have those pictures, Mr Sartoria, please post
them here for example purposes). The true master of DTO is of course
honourable member Phat Guido, who did some most exerent imitations
    of this member"”bless you, PG!

The goal of this challenge is simple: dress like another forum member.
You can choose whoever you want to imitate or pay tribute to, and it is
up to you whether you want to mention who you are DTO'ing"”by saying
it or by adding a picture of the original"”or let us guess.

Feel free to use any photographic formats, props (eg framed pictures of
your wife, your wife, bidets, Aston Martins, puppy's and kids), accessories
(felt stuff, beads, spring scarfs, tattoos) or whatever, to enhance the DTO.

An example (done before as well, IIRC, but anyway):

    Have fun and good luck!

If I DTO DTO himself (and thus PG, once removed), do I get extra credit?

I feel that a new leader has emerged in the D.T.O. object sweepstakes.

Gentlemen: Mr. Valentine has set the price.
